📝 Ingredients
For the Filling
2 chicken breasts, diced
150g chorizo, sliced or diced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken stock
1 tbsp flour (to thicken)
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
For the Pastry
1–2 sheets puff pastry (store-bought or homemade)
1 egg (for egg wash)
👨‍🍳 Instructions
1. Cook the Filling
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
Cook chorizo until it releases its smoky oils.
Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
Add chicken and cook until lightly golden.
Stir in smoked paprika and flour.
Pour in chicken stock and cream, simmer until thick and creamy.
Season with salt, pepper, and parsley. Let cool slightly.
2. Assemble the Pies
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
Cut puff pastry into circles or squares.
Spoon filling onto half of each piece and fold over.
Seal edges with a fork.
Brush with egg wash.
3. Bake
Bake for 20–25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
