📝 Ingredients
Hamburger Steaks
1½ lbs ground beef
1 egg
½ cup breadcrumbs
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp paprika
2 tbsp oil (for frying)
Onion Gravy
2 tbsp butter
1 large onion, sliced
2 tbsp flour
2 cups beef broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
👨‍🍳 Instructions
Mix ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, and seasonings.
Form into oval patties.
Pan-fry patties in oil until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté onions until soft and golden.
Stir in flour and cook 1 minute.
Slowly add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until thickened.
Return patties to the gravy and simmer 10–15 minutes.
Serve hot with plenty of gravy.
