🛒 Ingredients
🍗 Chicken:
4 chicken breasts (thinly sliced or pounded)
Salt & black pepper
½ cup flour (for dredging)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
🍄 Marsala Sauce:
250g mushrooms (sliced)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
¾ cup Marsala wine
1 cup chicken broth
½ cup heavy cream (optional for creamy version)
1 tsp fresh thyme (or ½ tsp dried)
👨‍🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare Chicken
Season chicken with salt & pepper
Lightly dredge in flour, shaking off excess
2️⃣ Sear
Heat olive oil + 1 tbsp butter in a pan
Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden
Remove and set aside
3️⃣ Cook Mushrooms
In the same pan, add remaining butter
Sauté mushrooms until browned and tender
Add garlic → cook 1 minute
4️⃣ Make Marsala Sauce
Pour in Marsala wine → simmer and reduce slightly
Add chicken broth + thyme
(Optional) Stir in cream for a richer sauce
5️⃣ Finish
Return chicken to pan
Simmer 8–10 minutes until sauce thickens and chicken is tender
