Bold & Spicy Cajun Salmon & Shrimp

Ingredients:
– 4 salmon fillets (approximately 150g each)
– 300 g of peeled and deveined shrimp
– 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning
– 3 tablespoons of olive oil
– 3 cloves of garlic, minced
– 1 lemon (juice and slices)
– A handful of fresh parsley, chopped
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Prepare the ingredients: Start by washing the salmon fillets and shrimp. Dry with paper towel to remove excess moisture.
2. Season Salmon and Shrimp: In a large bowl, mix salmon and shrimp fillets with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Make sure all ingredients are well coated with spices. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
3. Cooking Salmon: Heat a Large Skillet on Medium-High Heat. Add a little more olive oil if neccessary. Place the salmon fillets in the pan, skin down if they have it. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until salmon is golden brown and cooked to taste. Remove the salmon from the pan and keep warm.
4. Cook the shrimp: In the same pan, add the marinated shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and cooked. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
5. Serve: In a large plate, place the salmon fillets and shrimp. Garnish with lemon slices and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley for a pop of color.
6. Enjoy: Serve hot with rice, salad or your favorite side dish. This dish is perfect for a special dinner or to impress your guests with a bold and spicy flavor.
Extra Tips: If you want a little more spicy, you can add a few drops of hot sauce to taste. You can also accompany the dish with a yogurt or avocado sauce to balance the flavor. Enjoy your meal!
