Shrimp Tortellini in Garlic Butter Sauce 🦐🧄🧈

Ingredients:
For the Shrimp:
400g (14 oz) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon butter
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon lemon juice
For the Tortellini:
250g (9 oz) cheese or spinach-filled tortellini
1 teaspoon salt (for boiling water)
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
3 tablespoons butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup chicken broth
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
For Garnish:
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Extra Parmesan, for serving
Instructions:
1️⃣ Cook the Tortellini:

Boil tortellini in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Sauté the Shrimp:

In a pan, melt 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Cook for 2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Squeeze in lemon juice, then remove from the pan.
3️⃣ Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce:

In the same pan, melt 3 tablespoons butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring well. Add salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Simmer for 2–3 minutes, then stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.

Add the cooked tortellini and shrimp to the sauce, tossing gently to coat. Simmer for 1–2 minutes until everything is heated through.
5️⃣ Serve and Enjoy:

Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve immediately and enjoy this creamy, buttery delight!
