250g elbow macaroni or small pasta
200g shrimp (peeled & deveined)
150g crab meat (optional but recommended)
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 tbsp flour (for roux)
2 cups milk
1 cup heavy cream
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
Optional: parsley & chili flakes
👨‍🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions
Cook pasta until al dente, drain and set aside.
In a pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add flour and stir to form a smooth roux.
Slowly whisk in milk and cream until thickened.
Add cheddar and mozzarella, stirring until smooth and creamy.
Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes until pink.
Fold in crab meat and cooked pasta.
Transfer to baking dish, top with extra cheese.
Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
