🛒 Ingredients
🥩 Beef:
400g beef (sirloin or flank, thinly sliced)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp oil
🧅 Veggies:
2 large sweet onions (sliced)
1 bell pepper (optional) 🌶️
🧄 Sauce:
3 cloves garlic (minced) 🧄
1 tbsp ginger (grated)
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sugar
½ cup beef broth
1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)
1 tsp sesame oil
👨‍🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Marinate beef
Toss beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, and oil
Let sit for 10–15 minutes
2️⃣ Sear beef
Heat a wok or pan until very hot
Sear beef quickly (1–2 minutes)
Remove and set aside
3️⃣ Cook onions
In same pan, sauté onions (and bell peppers if using)
Cook until slightly caramelized and soft
4️⃣ Build sauce
Add garlic and ginger
Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and broth
Simmer briefly
5️⃣ Combine
Return beef to pan
Add cornstarch slurry to thicken
Toss until glossy and coated
6️⃣ Finish & serve
Drizzle sesame oil
