🛒 Ingredients
🍗 Chicken:
500g chicken breast (cut into bite-size pieces)
Salt & black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 egg
½ cup cornstarch
Oil for frying
🧄 Sticky Garlic Sauce:
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp honey 🍯
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp ginger (grated)
1 tsp chili flakes 🌶️ (optional)
1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)
👨‍🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Coat chicken
Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder
Dip in egg, then coat in cornstarch
2️⃣ Fry until crispy
Fry chicken in hot oil until golden and crispy
Remove and drain
3️⃣ Make sauce
In a pan, sauté garlic and ginger
Add soy sauce, honey, sugar, oyster sauce, vinegar
Stir and bring to simmer
Add cornstarch slurry to thicken
4️⃣ Toss
Add crispy chicken into sauce
Toss until fully coated and sticky
5️⃣ Serve
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions 🌿
Serve with rice 🍚
