🧅 Onion
1 large sweet onion (Vidalia if possible) 🧅
2 cups flour
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder 🧄
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper 🌶️
Salt & black pepper
2 eggs 🥚
1 cup milk 🥛
Oil for deep frying 🔥
🥣 Dipping Sauce
½ cup mayonnaise 🥛
1 tbsp ketchup 🍅
1 tsp horseradish (optional)
½ tsp paprika
Pinch salt & pepper
👨‍🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions
1. 🧅 Cut onion

Peel onion and cut into “bloom” petals without slicing all the way through.

2. 🥣 Prepare coating

Mix flour and spices in one bowl. Whisk eggs and milk in another.

3. 🍳 Coat onion

Dip onion into flour → egg mixture → flour again for full coverage.

4. 🔥 Fry

Deep fry at 175°C (350°F) for 6–8 minutes until golden and crispy.

5. 🧄 Drain

Let excess oil drain on paper towels.

6. 🥣 Make sauce

Mix mayo, ketchup, horseradish, and spices.

7. 🍽️ Serve

Serve hot with dipping sauce in the center.
