Creamy Garlic Herb Sauce with Grilled Steak and Salmon

Ingredients:
• For the Steak:
o 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (about 1 inch thick)
o Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
o 2 tbsp olive oil
• For the Salmon:
o 2 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
o Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
o 1 tbsp olive oil
o 1 lemon, sliced (for grilling)
• For the Creamy Garlic Herb Sauce:
o 1 cup heavy cream
o 2 tbsp unsalted butter
o 3 cloves garlic, minced
o 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
o 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
o 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
o 1/2 tsp lemon zest
o Salt and pepper, to taste
o Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Creamy Garlic Herb Sauce:
o In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
o Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Allow it to simmer for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
o Remove from heat and stir in the fresh herbs, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. If desired, add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a touch of heat. Set aside.
2. Prepare the Steak:
o Preheat the grill to high heat.
o Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper, then rub with olive oil. Allow them to sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes.
3. Prepare the Salmon:
o Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, and drizzle with olive oil. Place lemon slices on top of the salmon for added flavor while grilling.
4. Grill the Steak:
o Once the grill is hot, add the steaks. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and grill for another 3-4 minutes (for medium-rare), adjusting the time based on your preferred doneness. Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for at least 5 minutes.
5. Grill the Salmon:
o While the steaks are resting, place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side down. Grill for about 4-6 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the grill.
6. Serve:
o Place the grilled steak and salmon on a serving platter. Generously drizzle the creamy garlic herb sauce over both the steak and salmon.
o Garnish with additional chopped herbs if desired and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Tips:
• For extra flavor, marinate the steaks in a mixture of olive oil, garlic, and herbs for a few hours before grilling.
• This dish pairs well with roasted potatoes or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
• The creamy sauce can be made ahead of time and reheated gently before serving.

This Creamy Garlic Herb Sauce with Grilled Steak and Salmon recipe offers a luxurious, creamy twist to the classic combination of steak and salmon, making it a standout dish for any occasion!
