300g penne pasta
300g smoked sausage (sliced)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion (chopped)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 cup heavy cream
ยฝ cup chicken broth
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp paprika
ยฝ tsp chili flakes (optional)
Salt & black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Cook pasta
Boil penne in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Brown the sausage
Heat olive oil in a pan and cook sausage slices until golden and slightly crispy. Remove and set aside.
Build flavor base
In the same pan, sautรฉ onion and garlic until fragrant.
Make creamy Cajun sauce
Add Cajun seasoning, paprika, and chili flakes. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well.
Add cheese & combine
Mix in parmesan until smooth and creamy.
Combine everything
Add sausage and cooked pasta back into the pan. Toss until fully coated.
