2 tbsp cooking oil
1 tbsp soy sauce

1. Marinate the beef:
Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, cornstarch, and sesame oil.
Add beef slices, mix well, and marinate for 15–20 minutes.
2. Caramelize the onions:

Add sliced onions and sugar. Sauté slowly until golden brown and soft (about 10–15 minutes).
Remove and set aside.
3. Stir-fry the beef:
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok or large pan over high heat.
Add the marinated beef in a single layer and sear until browned (2–3 minutes).
Remove beef and set aside.
4. Combine:
In the same pan, return the caramelized onions. Add soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and water/stock.
Toss the beef back into the pan. Stir-fry together for 1–2 minutes until coated and heated through.
5. Serve:
