BROWN SUGAR AND SPICY CARAMELIZED CHICKEN

Ingredients:
– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– 1/4 cup brown sugar
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon ground ginger
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions:
Step 1: Marinate
In a bowl, mix brown sugar, soy sauce, sriracha sauce, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2: Sear
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the marinated chicken breasts for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
Step 3: Caramelize
Reduce heat to low. Sprinkle some more brown sugar over the chicken breasts. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to caramelize the sugar, coating the chicken evenly.
Step 4: Glaze
Pour any remaining marinade over the chicken. Let it simmer and thicken into a sticky glaze, coating the chicken well.
