🛒 Ingredients
1 medium green cabbage (chopped) 🥬
5–6 strips bacon (chopped) 🥓
1 small onion (sliced) 🧅
2 garlic cloves (minced) 🧄
1 tbsp butter 🧈
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional for heat 🌶️)
👨‍🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Bacon
Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
Cook bacon until crispy.
Remove and set aside (leave the bacon fat in the pan!).
2️⃣ Sauté the Base
Add onion to the pan and cook until soft.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
3️⃣ Cook the Cabbage
Add chopped cabbage to the skillet.
Stir well to coat in bacon fat.
Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili flakes.
