Steak
2 ribeye or sirloin steaks
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
Creamy Pepper Sauce
2 tbsp butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp crushed black pepper (or peppercorns)
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup beef broth
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt to taste
Asparagus
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
Salt & pepper
👨🍳 Instructions
🥩 Steak
Season steaks with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat oil in a hot pan and sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side (or desired doneness).
Rest steaks for 5–10 minutes.
🌿 Asparagus
Sauté asparagus in butter or olive oil for 4–6 minutes until tender-crisp. Season lightly.
🥣 Creamy Pepper Sauce
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic.
Add crushed pepper and cook 30 seconds.
Pour in beef broth, Dijon, and Worcestershire sauce.
Add cream and simmer until thick and silky.
🍽 Assemble
Slice steak and pour creamy pepper sauce over it.
Serve with asparagus on the side.
