Steak & Lobster with Velvety Butter Sauce

Ingredients: For the Steak: – 2 filet mignon steaks (1 1/2 inches thick) – 1 tablespoon olive oil – 1 teaspoon salt – 1/2 teaspoon black pepper – 2 garlic cloves, smashed – 1 tablespoon butter For the Lobster: – 2 lobster tails, split lengthwise – 2 tablespoons butter, melted – 1 garlic clove, minced – 1 tablespoon lemon juice – Pinch of paprika For the Butter Sauce: – 1/4 cup unsalted butter – 1/2 cup heavy cream – 1 tablespoon lemon juice – 1 garlic clove, minced – Salt and pepper to taste – Fresh parsley, chopped Directions: 1. Prepare the Lobster Tails: – Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). – Mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and paprika. Brush over the lobster meat. – Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and tender. 2. Cook the Steaks: – Pat steaks dry and season with salt and pepper. – Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. – Add smashed garlic and butter during the last minute, basting the steaks with the melted butter. Remove from skillet, cover, and let rest. 3. Make the Butter Sauce: – In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. – Stir in heavy cream and lemon juice. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper. 4. Serve: – Place the steak on a plate, top with a lobster tail, and drizzle with the butter sauce. – Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
