📝 Ingredients
🥩 Hamburger Steaks
1½ lbs ground beef
1 egg
½ cup breadcrumbs
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp paprika
🧅 Onion Gravy
2 large onions, sliced
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
2 cups beef broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp soy sauce (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
👨🍳 Instructions
🥩 Patties
Mix ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, and seasonings.
Form into thick patties.
Sear in a skillet until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
🧅 Gravy
In same pan, melt butter and cook onions until golden and soft.
Stir in flour and cook 1 minute.
Slowly add beef broth while stirring.
Add Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce.
Simmer until thick and smooth.
🔥 Finish
Return patties to pan and simmer in gravy 10–15 minutes.
Spoon gravy over the top before serving.
