500g chicken breast or thighs (sliced thin)
Salt & black pepper
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp oil
🥬 Veggies:
3 cups cabbage (shredded)
1 carrot (thinly sliced) 🥕
2 green onions (chopped)
🧄 Garlic Ginger Soy Glaze:
4 cloves garlic (minced) 🧄
1 tbsp ginger (grated)
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp honey or sugar 🍯
½ cup chicken broth or water
1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)
1 tsp sesame oil
👨‍🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prep chicken
Toss chicken with salt, pepper, and cornstarch
2️⃣ Sear chicken
Heat oil in a pan or wok
Cook chicken until golden and cooked through
Remove and set aside
3️⃣ Cook veggies
In same pan, sauté cabbage, carrots, and green onions
Cook until slightly tender but still crisp
4️⃣ Make sauce
Add garlic and ginger
Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and broth
Simmer briefly
5️⃣ Combine
Return chicken to pan
Add cornstarch slurry to thicken
Toss until coated in glossy sauce
