Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich

Ingredients:
For the Filling:
500g thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin)
2 medium onions, thinly sliced
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Sandwich:
4 hoagie rolls or sandwich buns
6 slices provolone cheese or mozzarella
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:
1. Cook the Onions:
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add sliced onions and sauté until golden and caramelized (about 10-12 minutes). Set aside.
2. Cook the Beef:
In the same skillet, add the sliced beef. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook on high heat until browned and tender (about 3-4 minutes).
3. Assemble the Sandwich:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Slice the rolls open and layer the cooked beef evenly.
Add caramelized onions on top of the beef.
Place 1-2 slices of provolone cheese on each sandwich.
4. Melt the Cheese:
Place the assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
5. Serve:
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Serve warm with your favorite side, like fries or a salad.
