Jalapeño Bacon Jam Burgers 🍔🔥

🛒 Ingredients
🥓 Bacon Jam:

🥓 8 slices bacon, chopped

🧅 1 large onion, thinly sliced

🌶️ 2 jalapeños, finely diced

🍯 3 tbsp brown sugar

🍎 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

🍁 1 tbsp maple syrup

🧄 2 garlic cloves, minced

🍔 Burgers:

🥩 500g ground beef

🧂 Salt and black pepper to taste

🍞 4 burger buns

🧀 4 slices cheddar cheese

👨‍🍳 Instructions

🔥 In a skillet over medium heat, cook the 🥓 chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, keeping a little bacon fat in the pan.

🧅 Add the sliced onions to the same pan and cook slowly until soft and caramelized (about 10–15 minutes).

🌶️🧄 Stir in the diced jalapeños and minced garlic, cooking for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.

🍯🍎🍁 Add brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and maple syrup. Mix well.

🥓 Return the cooked bacon to the pan and simmer on low heat until the mixture thickens into a jam-like texture. Set aside.

🥩 Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties. Season both sides with 🧂 salt and black pepper.

🔥 Cook the patties on a hot grill or skillet for about 3–4 minutes per side, depending on your preferred doneness.

🧀 Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking and let it melt.

🍞 Lightly toast the burger buns.

🍔 Assemble the burgers by placing the beef patty on the bun and topping it generously with the jalapeño bacon jam. Serve immediately.

💡 Notes

🌶️ Remove jalapeño seeds for a milder flavor.

⏳ Cook the bacon jam slowly to develop a rich, deep taste.
