Cajun Steak and Shrimp with Creamy Garlic Sauce

Bring the spirit of New Orleans to your kitchen with this zesty Cajun Steak and Shrimp dish, topped with a luscious creamy garlic sauce that will have you savoring every bite!
Ingredients:
– 1 lb shrimp
– 1 lb steak
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– Olive oil
– Cajun seasoning
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Step 1: Marinate the proteins
Generously season both the steak and shrimp with Cajun seasoning, ensuring they’re well coated. Let them marinate for about 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Step 2: Sear the steak
In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak and cook to your preference (about 4-5 minutes per side for medium). Once done, remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board.
Step 3: Cook the shrimp
In the same skillet (adding more olive oil if needed), toss in the shrimp. Cook them for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are fully cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 4: Prepare the creamy garlic sauce
Lower the heat and add minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5: Serve
Slice the rested steak and arrange on a plate alongside the shrimp. Drizzle the delightful creamy garlic sauce generously over the top for a touch of indulgence.
