500g ground beef

1 egg

½ cup breadcrumbs

For the mac & cheese:

2 cups cooked macaroni

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup milk

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp flour

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a bowl, mix all meatloaf ingredients.

Press mixture evenly into a greased baking dish.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, melt butter in a pan, stir in flour, then slowly add milk to make a creamy sauce.

Add cheese, stir until melted, then mix with cooked macaroni.

Remove meatloaf from oven, spread mac & cheese on top.

Sprinkle extra cheese and bake another 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing.
