Beef Strips in Tomato Sauce with Rice

Ingredients:
1 lb beef strips (sirloin or flank steak)
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 bell pepper, sliced (red, yellow, or green)
2 cups tomato sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp paprika
1/2 cup beef broth or water
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups cooked white rice (for serving)
Instructions:
Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, and sauté for about 3-4 minutes, until softened.
Cook the Beef: Add the beef strips to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until browned on all sides.
Make the Sauce: Add minced garlic, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine, then add tomato sauce and beef broth (or water). Bring to a simmer and cook for 10-12 minutes, until the beef is tender and the sauce has thickened.
Serve: Plate the beef strips and sauce mixture over a bed of cooked rice. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
Serve hot, and enjoy the comforting combination of tender beef and rich tomato sauce with rice!
