400g beef sirloin or flank steak (thinly sliced)
2 tbsp cornstarch
Salt & black pepper
2 tbsp oil
🍜 Noodles:
300g egg noodles or ramen noodles
Salted water for boiling
🧄 Sticky Mongolian Sauce:
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar 🍯
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tbsp ginger (grated)
½ cup beef broth or water
1 tsp chili flakes 🌶️ (optional)
1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)
🌿 Finish:
2 green onions (sliced)
1 tsp sesame seeds
👨🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook noodles
Boil noodles until tender
Drain and set aside
2️⃣ Prepare beef
Toss sliced beef with salt, pepper, and cornstarch
Sear in hot oil until browned and crispy on edges
Remove and set aside
3️⃣ Make sauce
In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger
Add soy sauce, hoisin, oyster sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, broth
Simmer for 2–3 minutes
Add cornstarch slurry to thicken
4️⃣ Combine
Add beef back into sauce
Toss in noodles and mix until fully coated and sticky
5️⃣ Serve
Top with green onions and sesame seeds 🌿
