Shrimp Pasta Recipe

Ingredients:
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp cornstarch
½ onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
½ cup ketchup
2 tbsp Shaoxing wine
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp light soy sauce
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 cup water
8 oz spaghetti
Instructions:
Cook pasta according to package directions.
While pasta is cooking, prepare the shrimp by tossing with 1 tbsp cornstarch.
Heat olive oil in a pan, add onion and garlic and cook until fragrant.
Add shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through.
Remove shrimp from pan and set aside.
In the same pan, combine ketchup, Shaoxing wine, 1 tbsp cornstarch, light soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, salt, and water.
Bring to a simmer and cook until sauce has thickened.
Add cooked pasta and shrimp to the sauce and toss to combine.
Serve hot, garnished with black pepper.
