Loaded Shrimp Taco Salad

Ingredients
For the Shrimp:

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp fresh parsley (for garnish)
For the Ground Beef:

1/2 lb ground beef
1 tbsp taco seasoning
1/4 cup water
Toppings:

2 cups shredded lettuce
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
Pickled jalapeños (as desired)
Optional Base:

Tortilla chips or mixed greens
Instructions
Prepare the Shrimp:

Toss shrimp with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Set aside.
Cook the Ground Beef:

In the same skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened. Set aside.
Assemble the Salad:

Start with a layer of tortilla chips or mixed greens.
Add shredded lettuce, then sprinkle on cheese, tomatoes, and cooked ground beef.
Top with cooked shrimp and garnish with pickled jalapeños and fresh parsley.
Serve:

Enjoy as is or with your favorite toppings like sour cream, guacamole, or salsa.
