Cajun Salmon & Shrimp with Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce

Ingredients:

– 2 salmon fillets (approximately 170g each)
– 450 g prawns, peeled and deveined
– 2 tablespoons of Cajun seasoning
– 1 teaspoon of black pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
– 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
– 3 cloves of garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
– 1 tablespoon of honey
– 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
– Lemon slices, to decorate

Instrucciones:

1. Prepare the ingredients: In a bowl, mix the Cajun seasoning, paprika, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper. Sprinkle this mixture over salmon fillets and shrimp, making sure they’re well-coated.

2. Cooking Salmon: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets, skin down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes. Then, flip the steaks and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until cooked to your liking. Remove the salmon from the pan and keep it warm.

3. Cook the shrimp: In the same pan, add the other spoonful of olive oil and the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and well cooked. Remove the shrimp from the pan and keep them warm next to the salmon.

4. Prepare garlic lemon butter sauce: In the same skillet, add the butter and let it melt over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Then add the lemon juice and honey, and mix well.

5. Combine: Return salmon and shrimp to the pan, and gently stir in the sauce to coat well. Cook for a minute more to heat it all together.
