Cajun Salmon and Shrimp with Garlic Butter Sauce

Ingredients:
For the salmon:
2 salmon fillets π
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning πΆοΈ
1 tablespoon olive oil π«
For the shrimp:
200g shrimp, peeled and deveined π¦
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning πΆοΈ
1 tablespoon butter π§
For the garlic butter sauce:
2 tablespoons butter π§
3 garlic cloves, minced π§
1/2 cup chicken broth π²
1 tablespoon lemon juice π
1 tablespoon chopped parsley πΏ
Optional Side:
Steamed rice π
Instructions:
1. Prepare the salmon:
Rub the salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the salmon for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Set aside. πβ¨
2. Cook the shrimp:
In the same skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside. π¦
3. Make the garlic butter sauce:
In the skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and sautΓ© until fragrant. Stir in chicken broth and lemon juice. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. π§π
4. Combine and serve:
Return the salmon and shrimp to the skillet. Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top and garnish with parsley. Serve with steamed rice for a complete meal. ππΏ
