2 chicken breasts (or thighs)
1 onion (chopped)
3 carrots (sliced)
2 celery stalks (chopped)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
6 cups chicken broth

1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried parsley
1 bay leaf
Salt & black pepper to taste

2 cups egg noodles (added at end)
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
