Cherry Filled Crescent Rolls

Ingredients:
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup cherry pie filling (or homemade cherry filling)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1-2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional, for glaze)
1 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
Optional: 1 tsp granulated sugar (for sprinkling on top)

Directions:
Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the Crescent Rolls:

Open the can of crescent rolls and unroll the dough. Separate it into 8 triangles along the perforations.
Fill the Crescent Rolls:

Place a spoonful of cherry pie filling (about 1-2 tablespoons) near the wide end of each crescent roll triangle.
Gently roll the dough from the wide end towards the narrow tip, making sure the filling stays inside. Pinch the edges slightly to seal the filling.
Brush and Bake:

Place the filled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with a little granulated sugar if you want a slightly sweet crust.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown.
Prepare the Glaze:

While the crescent rolls are baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Adjust the consistency by adding more milk or powdered sugar as needed.
Glaze the Rolls:

Once the crescent rolls are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
Drizzle the glaze over the warm crescent rolls.
Serve:

Serve the cherry-filled crescent rolls warm, either as a dessert or a sweet breakfast treat.
