Beef
1½ lbs beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
1 tbsp sesame oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
Salt & black pepper to taste
Sesame Cabbage
4 cups green cabbage, shredded
1 carrot, julienned (optional)
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsp sesame seeds
2 green onions, sliced
Ginger Soy Glaze
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp cornstarch
¼ cup beef broth or water
👨🍳 Instructions
Mix glaze ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
Heat sesame oil in a skillet over high heat.
Add beef and sear until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
Add cabbage and cook until tender but slightly crisp.
Return beef to the skillet.
Pour in ginger soy glaze and toss everything together until glossy.
Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
