🛒 Ingredients
🥟 Dumplings:
20–24 dumplings (store-bought or homemade)
1 tbsp oil
½ cup water
🥕 Vegetables:
1 cup shredded cabbage 🥬
1 carrot (julienned) 🥕
1 bell pepper (sliced) 🌶️
2 green onions (chopped)
🧄 Sweet Soy Ginger Glaze:
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar 🍯
1 tsp garlic (minced) 🧄
1 tsp ginger (grated)
½ cup water
1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)
1 tsp sesame oil (finish)
👨‍🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Pan-sear dumplings
Heat oil in a pan
Place dumplings flat-side down
Cook until bottoms are golden and crispy
2️⃣ Steam
Add ½ cup water carefully
Cover and steam 5–7 minutes until fully cooked
3️⃣ Cook vegetables
In another pan, stir-fry cabbage, carrots, and peppers
Cook until tender-crisp
4️⃣ Make glaze
Add garlic and ginger to veggies
Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and water
Simmer briefly
Add cornstarch slurry to thicken
5️⃣ Combine
Add dumplings to sauce
Toss gently to coat in glossy glaze
6️⃣ Serve
Drizzle sesame oil
