Steak with Potatoes

Ingredients:
1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), seasoned with salt and pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 lb baby potatoes, halved
2 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs (optional for extra flavor)
Instructions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add seasoned steak and cook until desired doneness, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove steak and set aside to rest.
In the same skillet, add potatoes, season with salt, and cook until golden brown and tender, about 10-12 minutes.
Add butter, garlic, and rosemary or thyme to the skillet with potatoes, stirring to coat and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Slice steak and serve alongside garlic butter potatoes. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes:
Serve with a side salad for a balanced meal.
Adjust cooking time for steak based on thickness and preference.
