Steak in Creamy Cajun Shrimp Sauce

Ingredients:
4 steaks (ribeye or filet mignon)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
Season Steaks: Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
Sear Steaks: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Once cooked, remove the steaks from the skillet and set them aside.
Cook Shrimp: In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
Make Sauce: Pour the heavy cream into the skillet with the shrimp. Stir in the Cajun seasoning and cook the sauce until it begins to thicken, about 2-3 minutes. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
Serve: Place the seared steaks on a plate and top each one with the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
