Spicy Steak and Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients:
– 1 lb sirloin steak
– 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
– 8 oz fettuccine pasta
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 2 tablespoons butter
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Start by cooking the fettuccine according to the package instructions, then drain and set it aside. Take the sirloin steak and season it well with Cajun seasoning. Heat up a skillet until it’s very hot, and then blacken the steak for about 5-6 minutes per side if you like it medium-rare. Once done, remove it from the skillet and let it rest.
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add in the minced garlic and sauté it until it’s nice and fragrant. Next, throw in the shrimp and cook them until they’re pink and opaque, which should take about 2-3 minutes. Take out the shrimp and set them aside too.
Now, pour in the heavy cream into the skillet and bring it to a gentle simmer. Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese until it melts and the sauce is smooth. Season the sauce with some salt and pepper to taste.
Finally, combine the cooked pasta, the shrimp, and the sliced steak in the creamy sauce. Toss everything well so that it’s all evenly coated. Serve it up with a garnish of fresh parsley on top. Enjoy your flavorful Spicy Steak and Shrimp Pasta!
