Slow Cooker Chicken Parmesan

Ingredients 😋
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh basil for garnish
Directions 😋
1️⃣ Prepare the chicken: Season chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
2️⃣ Layer in the slow cooker: Pour 1 cup of marinara sauce into the bottom of the slow cooker. Add chicken breasts in a single layer and top with the remaining marinara sauce.
3️⃣ Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
4️⃣ Add cheese: In the last 20 minutes of cooking, sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the chicken. Cover and let the cheese melt.
5️⃣ Serve: Garnish with fresh basil and serve with pasta, salad, or garlic bread for a complete meal.
