Savory Beef Wellington Recipe

Ingredients:
1 sheet of puff pastry ๐ฅ
1 lb ground beef ๐ฅฉ
1 onion ๐ง
(chopped)
2 tbsp olive oil ๐ซ

1/4 cup beef broth ๐ฒ

1 tbsp flour (for thickening)

Instructions:
Prepare the Filling:
Heat the olive oil ๐ซ in a skillet over medium heat.
Add chopped onions ๐ง
and cook until soft and translucent.
Add the ground beef ๐ฅฉ and brown until fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spoon.

Assemble the Wellington:

Spoon the cooled beef mixture in the center of the pastry, then fold up the edges to encase the filling.
Brush the edges with beaten egg ๐ณ to seal the pastry.
Bake:
Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
Place the wrapped pastry onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the top with more beaten egg for a golden crust.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and crispy.
