Savory Beef Wellington Recipe

Ingredients:
1 sheet of puff pastry ๐Ÿฅ
1 lb ground beef ๐Ÿฅฉ
1 onion ๐Ÿง… (chopped)
2 tbsp olive oil ๐Ÿซ’
1 tbsp fresh thyme ๐ŸŒฟ (for garnish)
1/4 cup beef broth ๐Ÿฒ
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce ๐Ÿถ
1 tbsp flour (for thickening)
Salt & pepper ๐Ÿง‚

Instructions:
Prepare the Filling:
Heat the olive oil ๐Ÿซ’ in a skillet over medium heat.
Add chopped onions ๐Ÿง… and cook until soft and translucent.
Add the ground beef ๐Ÿฅฉ and brown until fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spoon.

Assemble the Wellington:

Spoon the cooled beef mixture in the center of the pastry, then fold up the edges to encase the filling.

Bake:

Place the wrapped pastry onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the top with more beaten egg for a golden crust.
