Saucy Surf and Turf Magic

Ingredients:
– 8 oz filet mignon
– 8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 1/4 cup butter
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/4 cup white wine
– 1/4 cup heavy cream
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions:

Step 1: Searing the Filet
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the filet mignon with salt and pepper, then sear it in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove from the skillet and let it rest.

Step 2: Cooking the Shrimp
In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3: Making the Sauce
Using the same skillet, melt the butter and sautΓ© the garlic until fragrant. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a minute. Stir in the heavy cream and let the sauce thicken slightly.

Step 4: Combining Surf and Turf
Return the filet mignon and shrimp to the skillet, coating them with the sauce. Cook for an additional minute to heat everything through.

Step 5: Serving
Transfer the surf and turf to a serving plate, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
