Oven Beef Ribs YAY OR NAY

Oven-baked beef ribs boast a rich, deep flavor, with a tender texture that falls off the bone, accentuated by a caramelized crust!
Ingredients:
2 racks of beef ribs
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp kosher salt
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
1/4 cup barbecue sauce (optional for glazing)
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Prepare the Ribs:
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better texture. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
Season the Ribs:
Rub the ribs with olive oil on both sides. In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne (if using). Generously coat the ribs with the seasoning blend.
Bake the Ribs:
Place the ribs on the prepared baking sheet, bone side down. Cover tightly with aluminum foil to trap the steam. Bake in the oven for 3-3.5 hours, or until the ribs are tender and the meat pulls away from the bone easily.
Glaze (Optional):
For a saucy finish, remove the foil, brush the ribs with barbecue sauce, and return to the oven. Increase the heat to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 10-15 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
Rest and Serve:
Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, coleslaw, or cornbread.
