Classic Sausage

Ingredients:

4 breakfast sausage links
4 large eggs
2 cups frozen hash browns
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Directions:

Cook the Sausage:
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the sausage links until browned and fully cooked (about 8–10 minutes), turning occasionally. Remove and set aside.

Prepare the Hash Browns:
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the frozen hash browns and spread them out in an even layer. Cook for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden and crispy. Season with salt and pepper.

Cook the Eggs:
Push the hash browns to one side of the skillet. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your desired doneness (sunny-side-up, over-easy, or scrambled).

Assemble the Plate:
Arrange the cooked sausage, hash browns, and eggs on a plate. Sprinkle the hash browns with shredded cheddar cheese, if desired, and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot.
