Cheesy Beefy Rolls

Ingredients:

1 lb (450g) ground beef
1 cup (100g) shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
1 can (13.8 oz/390g) refrigerated pizza dough
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
Β½ cup (75g) finely chopped onion
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:

Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cook Beef Mixture:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and the onion is soft.
Season with salt and pepper.
Drain any excess fat.
Stir in ketchup and mustard, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Prepare Dough:

Unroll the pizza dough on a floured surface and roll it out to a rectangle approximately 12×8 inches (30×20 cm).
Assemble Rolls:

Spread the beef mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef mixture.
Starting from one long side, roll the dough tightly into a log.
Slice the log into 1-inch (2.5 cm) thick pieces.
Bake:

Place the slices cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
Serve:

Allow the rolls to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Enjoy them on their own or with dipping sauces like ranch, marinara, or garlic butter.
Notes:

Variations: Experiment with different types of cheese, such as pepper jack for a spicy kick or gouda for a smoky flavor. You can also incorporate vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers to add color and nutrition to your rolls.
