Steak with Garlic Cream Sauce

Ingredients:
For the steak:
2 boneless beef steaks (ribeye or sirloin)
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter π§
For the garlic cream sauce:
1 tbsp butter π§
4 garlic cloves, minced π§
1 cup heavy cream π₯
Β½ cup beef broth π
1 tsp Dijon mustard
ΒΌ cup grated Parmesan cheese π§
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) πΏ
Instructions:
1οΈβ£ Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides. Let them rest at room temperature for 15 minutes. π
2οΈβ£ Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to your preferred doneness. π‘οΈ Remove steaks from the skillet and let them rest. π₯©
3οΈβ£ In the same skillet, add butter and melt it over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sautΓ© for about 1 minute until fragrant. π§
