Smoked Lobster Tails 🦞🔥

Buttery, smoky, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious — the ultimate backyard luxury!
Ingredients:
• 2–4 lobster tails (5–6 oz each)
• 4 tbsp butter, melted
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
• Juice of 1/2 lemon
• 1/2 tsp paprika (for color)
• Salt & black pepper to taste
• Optional: wood chips for added smoke (cherry or hickory)
Instructions:
1. Prep the lobster tails
Use kitchen shears to cut down the top of the lobster shell lengthwise. Gently pull the meat out and rest it on top of the shell (but keep it attached at the base). This is called “butterflying.”
2. Season the lobster
Mix melted butter with garlic, lemon juice, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper. Brush generously over the lobster meat.
3. Smoke the lobster
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Use mild wood like cherry or pecan. Place lobster tails meat-side up and smoke for 45–60 minutes, or until the internal temp reaches 135–140°F.
4. Finish with butter
Brush with more garlic butter just before serving. You can also quickly broil them for 1–2 minutes at the end for a golden finish.
5. Serve hot
Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges. Serve with grilled veggies, baked potatoes, or garlic bread.
