Salmon and Shrimp with Cajun Cream Sauce

Blackened Salmon and Shrimp in a Spicy Cajun Cream Sauce
Ingredients:
2 salmon fillets
12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Directions:
Season the salmon fillets and shrimp generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and just cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add butter and allow it to melt. Add shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until they turn pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
Lower the heat to medium, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
Add heavy cream, chicken broth, paprika, and cayenne pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine, then bring to a gentle simmer.
Add Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens slightly (about 3-5 minutes).
Return the salmon and shrimp to the skillet, spooning sauce over each piece. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to meld flavors.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
