Easy Tuna Melt

Protein: ~32g per sandwich
Crispy golden bread, melty cheese, and creamy tuna salad—this quick classic is the ultimate savory comfort sandwich.
Ingredients (serves 2):
• 1 can (5–6 oz) tuna (drained)
• 2 tbsp mayonnaise
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
• 1 tbsp chopped celery or red onion
• Salt & pepper to taste
• 4 slices bread (sourdough, rye, or sandwich bread)
• 4 slices cheddar, Swiss, or mozzarella
• 1 tbsp butter (for grilling)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix tuna, mayo, mustard, celery/onion, salt & pepper.
2. Spread tuna mixture on two slices of bread. Top with cheese and the other bread slices.
3. Butter the outsides of each sandwich.
4. Grill in a skillet over medium heat until golden and cheese is melted (2–3 min per side).
5. Slice and serve hot with chips or a pickle.
