Decadent Steak and Shrimp with Garlic Butter Sauce

Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients:
2 ribeye or filet mignon steaks, 8 oz each
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper, optional

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
4 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup chicken or beef broth
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs, optional

Preparation:
Season the steaks with salt and pepper.

Cooking:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side. Remove the steaks and let them rest. Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and cayenne. In the same skillet, cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.

Make the Garlic Butter Sauce by melting butter in the skillet, adding garlic, and sautéing until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and broth, simmering for a few minutes. Return steak and shrimp to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them.

Final touches:
Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired.

Serving:
Serve the steak and shrimp with the garlic butter sauce over the top. Pair with your favorite sides for a complete meal.
