Decadent Chocolate Cake – A Slice of Heaven!

This rich, moist chocolate cake with a luscious chocolate frosting is the perfect treat for any occasion! Whether it’s a birthday or a random craving, this cake will satisfy every chocolate lover’s dream.

✨ Ingredients:
For the Cake:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water
For the Chocolate Frosting:

1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
2/3 cup cocoa powder
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup whole milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
✨ Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the Cake:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
Gradually add boiling water and stir (the batter will be thin).
Pour into the prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let the cakes cool completely.
2️⃣ Make the Frosting:

Beat butter until creamy.
Add cocoa powder, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and fluffy.
If too thick, add a little more milk; if too thin, add more powdered sugar.

Place one cake layer on a serving plate and frost with a generous layer of frosting.
Top with the second layer and frost the top and sides.
