Surf & Turf with Lobster, Shrimp & Filet

Ingredients:
– 2 filet mignon steaks (6-8 oz each)
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tbsp butter
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1/2 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp dried thyme
– 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
– 1 tsp olive oil
– 1/2 tsp paprika
– 1 tbsp lemon juice
– 2 lobster tails, split in half
– 2 tbsp melted butter
– 1 tsp garlic, minced
– 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
– 3 large russet potatoes, peeled & cubed
– 1/2 cup heavy cream
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni
– 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
– 3 tbsp butter
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1 cup broccoli florets
– 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1/4 tsp black pepper
Directions:
1. Prepare the Filet Mignon: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Season steaks with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and thyme. Heat olive oil in a pan over high heat. Sear steaks for 2 minutes per side. Add butter, baste for 1 minute, then transfer to the oven for 5-7 minutes for medium-rare.
2. Cook the Shrimp: Heat butter and olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Cook for 2 minutes per side. Drizzle with lemon juice.
3. Broil the Lobster Tails: Preheat oven broiler. Mix melted butter, garlic, paprika, salt, and red pepper flakes. Brush over lobster tails and broil for 8-10 minutes. Drizzle with lemon juice.
4. Make the Mashed Potatoes: Boil potatoes until fork-tender (about 15 minutes). Mash with butter, heavy cream, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
5. Prepare the Mac & Cheese: Cook pasta, drain, and return to pot. Stir in butter, heavy cream, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper until creamy.
6. Cook the Creamy Broccoli: Steam broccoli for 3-4 minutes. Melt butter in a pan, add heavy cream and cheese. Stir in broccoli, salt, and pepper.
7. Assemble & Serve: Plate mashed potatoes and place filet mignon on top, garnished with shrimp. Add broiled lobster tail, shrimp, mac & cheese, and creamy broccoli. Serve warm and enjoy!
