FILET MIGNON AND LOBSTER TAIL

Ingredients:

For the Filet Mignon:
2 filet mignon steaks (about 6 oz each) Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, smashed Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs (optional, for garnish)

For the Lobster Tails:
2 lobster tails 2 tbsp butter, melted 1 clove garlic, minced Lemon wedges, for serving Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) Instructions:

Prepare the Lobster Tails:
Preheat the oven broiler. Using kitchen scissors, cut along the top of each lobster shell and gently lift the lobster meat up, resting it on top of the shell. Brush lobster meat with melted butter and minced garlic. Set aside.

Cook the Filet Mignon:
Season steaks with salt and pepper. In a hot skillet, add olive oil and sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Add butter and smashed garlic to the skillet and baste steaks for an additional 1-2 minutes to desired doneness.

Remove steaks and let rest. Broil the Lobster Tails: Place lobster tails under the broiler for 5-8 minutes, until the meat is opaque and slightly browned on top.

Remove from the oven and garnish with parsley. Serve: Plate filet mignon and lobster tails together with a side of lemon wedges. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
